After an exhilarating day in the Scottish mountains, there's nothing quite like satisfying your hunger with delicious food. Aviemore, nestled amidst stunning landscapes in the Cairngorms National Park, offers a plethora of dining options to refuel and unwind post mountaineering or climbing courses.

Often a day in the mountains, whether you are climbing or mountaineering, can burn 2000 to 3000 extra calories. Adding this to your average calorie needs you could be looking at burning 4000+ calories on your days out. Maintaining a healthy diet is definitely important, but if you are going to indulge then the best time to do it is after a day mountaineering of climbing!
