Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Travel from Narvik
Morning/ Afternoon: At 9am a car will be waiting to drive you along the stunning coastline to your chalet in Lofoten.
Evening: Settle into your cozy chalet, with time to unpack and unwind. Enjoy a welcome evening meal and meet the other participants on the rock climbing course. Your host and instruction team will give a brief orientation about the week's rock climbing activities and what to expect.
Day 2: Introduction to Lofoten Rock Climbing
Morning: Enjoy a hearty breakfast with fjord views. Meet your expert climbing instructor for a briefing on safety protocols and the week's climbing plan.
Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Head out to your first climbing location. Start with a mix of single-pitch climbs to assess skill levels and acclimate to the rock.
Afternoon: Break for a packed lunch in a scenic spot. Continue rock climbing in the afternoon, focusing on improving rope work skills.
Evening: Return to the chalet for a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner. Reflect on the day's climbs with your group and instructor.
Day 3: Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing Adventure
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a more challenging multi-pitch rock climb. Enjoy the stunning views as you ascend higher.
Midday: Picnic lunch on a mountain ledge with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and fjords.
Afternoon: Complete the climb and abseil down, practicing efficient ropework techniques and movement on rock.
Evening: Return to the chalet for dinner. Share stories from the day's rock climbing adventure around a warm fire or enjoy some free time.
Day 4: Exploring Hidden Rock Climbing Gems
Morning: Early breakfast followed by a drive to a more remote rock climbing area known for its unique routes and beautiful scenery.
Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Engage in a mix of single-pitch and multi-pitch climbs tailored to challenge your skills and push your limits.
Afternoon: Lunch break in a picturesque location. Spend the afternoon exploring more routes or taking a scenic scramble to a viewpoint.
Evening: Head back to the chalet for a relaxing evening, enjoying a hearty dinner.
Day 5: Light Activity Day
Morning: You will have a range of options to choose from with your guide who will tailor the options to suit your needs. You can explore different rock climbing areas, focus on ropework, or improve movement techniques.
Afternoon: Enjoy a packed lunch during your activities.
Evening: Return to the chalet for a special dinner. Relax and prepare for the next day’s adventures.
Day 6: Final Rock Climbing Challenges
Morning: Early start with breakfast, then head out for your final day of rock climbing. Tackle some of the most iconic and challenging climbing routes in Lofoten.
Midday: Lunch at the base of a stunning peak. Discuss and apply advanced rock climbing techniques with your instructor.
Afternoon: Complete your climbs, focusing on efficiency and improving your overall rock climbing skills.
Evening: Return to the chalet for a celebratory farewell dinner. Share highlights of the week and enjoy the camaraderie of your group.
Day 7: Departure
Morning: Have your last breakfast by the fjords, savoring the tranquil surroundings. Pack up and prepare for departure.
Late Morning: Drive back to Narvik airport, reminiscing about your incredible week of rock climbing in Lofoten.
Afternoon: Catch your flight home with unforgettable memories, stunning photos, and well-earned sore muscles from your Arctic Circle adventure.

Previous Experience
To fully enjoy and benefit from this rock climbing adventure, it's essential that you have recent experience with traditional (trad) climbing techniques and are comfortable with abseiling. While we’ll tailor the climbing grades to match your ability, this trip is not intended for beginners or as an introduction to rock climbing.
